AI SERVICE DISCLOSURE
Last Updated: September 12, 2026
Spruceline LLC develops, configures, operates, and teaches businesses how to use artificial intelligence systems.
This disclosure explains important characteristics and limitations of those systems.
1. Use of Artificial Intelligence
Spruceline services may use artificial intelligence to perform tasks including:
Answering telephone calls
Making authorized outbound telephone calls
Responding to customer inquiries
Scheduling appointments
Qualifying leads
Collecting information
Providing business information
Transcribing conversations
Summarizing conversations
Sending follow-up communications
Updating business systems
Automating workflows
Generating text
Assisting website operations
Some interactions with businesses using Spruceline technology may therefore involve an automated AI system rather than a human representative.
2. AI Is Not Human
AI agents may communicate conversationally and may use realistic synthetic voices.
A realistic voice should not be interpreted as proof that the caller or speaker is a human.
Spruceline does not authorize customers to use its systems to fraudulently impersonate real individuals or intentionally mislead people about who is responsible for a communication.
Where applicable law requires disclosure that a communication uses an automated or artificial voice, the relevant disclosure must be provided.
3. AI Can Make Mistakes
Artificial intelligence systems are probabilistic.
AI-generated information may occasionally be:
Incorrect
Incomplete
Misunderstood
Outdated
Inconsistent
Inappropriate for a particular situation
Speech-recognition systems may also mishear names, addresses, dates, telephone numbers, accents, background speech, or other information.
Users should independently verify important information.
4. Human Oversight
Spruceline designs systems that may include escalation or transfer to human representatives where appropriate.
However, customers are responsible for determining when human review is necessary for their business.
Customers should not rely exclusively on an AI agent for situations involving significant health, safety, legal, financial, or other consequential decisions unless the system has specifically been designed and approved for that purpose.
5. Emergencies
Unless specifically stated otherwise, Spruceline AI agents are not emergency services.
They should not be relied upon to contact emergency responders or provide emergency medical, legal, safety, or crisis assistance.
Individuals experiencing an emergency should contact the appropriate emergency service directly.
6. Recording and Transcription
AI calling services may include:
Recording
Speech recognition
Transcription
Summarization
Conversation analysis
Whether these capabilities are enabled depends on the customer's configuration.
Recording and transcription laws differ by jurisdiction.
Spruceline customers are responsible for ensuring that appropriate notices and legally required consents are obtained.
7. Outbound Calls
Some customers may use Spruceline technology to initiate outbound telephone calls.
Outbound calls may be subject to federal and state requirements concerning:
Prior consent
Artificial or prerecorded voices
Telemarketing
Do Not Call lists
Caller identification
Calling hours
Opt-out mechanisms
Recordkeeping
Customers must use Spruceline outbound communications only when they have a lawful basis to make the communication.
Spruceline may restrict or disable campaigns that appear to violate these requirements.
8. Business Information
AI agents often rely on information supplied by the business using the agent.
Spruceline cannot guarantee the accuracy of information provided by its customers.
Businesses are responsible for keeping information supplied to their AI agents reasonably accurate and current.
9. Actions Taken by AI Agents
Depending on the configuration, an AI agent may be capable of performing actions such as:
Scheduling appointments
Sending messages
Updating records
Creating leads
Transferring calls
Triggering workflows
Customers are responsible for determining which actions the AI agent is authorized to perform.
10. Third-Party AI and Technology
Spruceline may use third-party:
AI models
Speech-recognition systems
Synthetic voice systems
Telecommunications infrastructure
Hosting systems
Databases
APIs
Automation platforms
Service availability and performance may therefore depend in part on third-party providers.
11. Training and Educational Services
Spruceline also teaches individuals and organizations how to use AI agents and automation systems.
Training may include examples, demonstrations, strategies, workflows, software recommendations, and implementation guidance.
Training content is provided for educational and informational purposes.
Technology changes rapidly, and software capabilities, pricing, policies, and best practices may change after training materials are produced.
Spruceline does not guarantee that any particular strategy, prompt, automation, agent, or implementation will produce a particular business result.
12. Professional Advice
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, information provided by Spruceline AI systems, consulting services, or educational programs should not be considered:
Legal advice
Medical advice
Financial advice
Accounting advice
Tax advice
Investment advice
Other licensed professional advice
Customers requiring professional guidance should consult an appropriately qualified professional.
